Do you have an authenticity policy?

As much as Dare to be Different Jewelry Designs would like to think we know “everything about gemstones, pearls, metals, materials, ancient beads, objets d’art, and other items”, we must admit that we don’t. Since the materials used in our creations are purchased from many different sources, vendors, dealers and collectors, we sometimes have to depend on them for information and provenance and trust that they are being truthful. In some cases, it is difficult to give precise dates and origin. Our intention is to describe our jewelry pieces as accurately as the information we receive throughout the “beading industry.”

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Yes, if you are a resident of Louisiana. The “tax man cometh” for all Louisiana residents who will be charged an additional 9% sales tax at checkout. So everyone else in other states, you catch a break on sales tax!

What are your exchange and return policies?

Dare to be Different Jewelry Designs wants to treat its customers the same way we would like to be treated and that is with fairness and consideration.

We take special care to inspect, insure and pack our item(s) in an effort that it arrives in a pristine condition and our customer will be delighted with his/her purchase.

However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will happily offer you a merchandise credit or full refund, with the exception of shipping and insurance charges.

Please e-mail us with the details of the item(s) you want to return, the reason for the return and whether you would prefer a merchandise credit or full refund. We recommend insuring the item(s) and using a reliable shipping method which provides a tracking system, since Dare to be Different Jewelry Designs will not be responsible for damage to the item(s) or loss of the return package and its contents.

We must receive the item (s) within 14 days of the original shipping date from Dare to be Different Jewelry Designs. Item(s) must be in original condition and must include all packaging contents with original receipt. Refund will then be made immediately!

Do you offer wholesale buying?

Yes. We are just tickled pink when a retailer falls in love with our jewelry and wants to purchase it directly for their shop, boutique, or art gallery for resale. Your Federal Tax ID Number is required and even though we will offer discounted prices, there is a minimum order requirement. Please contact us for more information and details.
