At the onset of my jewelry-making endeavor, I knew I wanted to mix and match gemstones that don’t exactly belong to the same family in the color wheel. And I saw absolutely no reason why we can’t wear silver and gold metals in one piece. Classic smooth round pearls and raw, freeform stones seemed like a perfect combination to me. But whatever materials I chose to combine, I knew that my designs needed to reflect the present. I wanted my customers to be able to wear my pieces any time, any place, and with any style of dress. I intended my designs to be contemporary and not appear dated.

So don’t be surprised to see my use of sapphires with coral, peridot with tiger eye, and rock quartz crystal with obsidian snowflake nuggets. There will be plenty of freshwater pearls in different colors and shapes; semi-precious and precious gemstones; handcrafted Hill-Tribe silver beads; organics such as amber and coral; and plenty of “eye-catching” focal beads. Just expect the unexpected!
