An amulet can also be a lucky piece of jewelry or ordinary object that supposedly protects its wearer against evil, injury, disease, bad luck or negative forces. Amulets date back to early man and are very common to several religions. The idea that a part of something or an object resembling something else can influence the course of events is deeply ingrained in many societies. These particular antique amulets have been collected throughout the Middle East and India – Antique Silver Tuareg Ingall Cross with Cobalt Glass from Northern Africa, Inscribed Green Glass Amulet which is bezel set in Old Coin Silver from Jordan, Bone Claw from Tibet, Old Coin Silver Stamped Coin from Morocco, and Old Coin Silver Drop from India – were collected in the early 1900s and up to 1950.
